Quilting Academy

Do you have an upcoming quilting retreat with your quilting circle, club or friends who want to learn quilting or more about quilting? We can come with prebuilt projects and instruction!

We like to do just a square of a larger project involving multiple similar squares. This way we can complete the process for a single square in a short period of time and then talk about how to go from there. If you are feeling more adventurous, we can take on a full quilt top.

We can then take the completed tops back to the studio and finish them on the Long Arm.

The instruction will focus on pattern design, fabric selection, templates, cutting strategies, the piecing process and finally the assembly process.

We will explore the challenges of "quilt math" and how to successfully navigate the process to ensure your final product is geometrically correct.
