Stitches N Ditches started with a simple sewing machine and a passion for creativity. What began as a personal project quickly grew into a business fueled by the joy of helping others preserve their most cherished memories in fabric form.

We started in an extra bedroom in Virginia with amazing ideas and a rapid realization that we didn't have enough room. COVID-19 came along and Patti was reaching the point where she had enough tenure with the Federal Government to retire. Her office was on 100% telecommute and mortgage rates were at historical lows. Maybe we should look towards our retirement house.

An internet search over a couple of months, turned up the perfect house in Florida in an over 55 community. Do we go or not - YES time to head south and leave DC behind.

The house and community we found were idyllic and we were able to fit right in, make friends and eventually expand the staff to include several other talented community members.

Over the years, we’ve expanded our expertise and services, earning a reputation for craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail.

We now have customers in all 50 states and many military installations world-wide.
